Journal of Anatomy is recruiting Early Career Researcher Editorial Board Members

Mar 1, 2024
The Journal of Anatomy (JoA) is looking to appoint new members to its Early Career Researcher Editorial Board to work together with existing the Editors-in-Chief and Editorial Board. Potential members should have expertise in one or more relevant areas of interest to JoA and have the time and energy to devote to becoming involved in the editorial process. The duties of the ECR editorial board will include gaining experience of reviewing and editing (under the supervision of an Editor-in-Chief), preparing special issues, and taking part in discussions about the strategic direction of the journal. We envision the workload averaging no more than one hour a week. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals at post-doctoral to junior lecturer level to become involved in this essential role in scientific publication and to shape the future of the journal.

New members will be appointed to the ECR editorial board for two years in the first instance.

If this sounds like you, please apply by email (<300 words) to philip.cox@ucl.ac.uk, detailing your experience, expertise and reasons for applying.
