In recent years there has been growing concern and debate as to how Anatomists can engage in a professional manner on Social Media platforms, especially when this may involve the sharing of images that’s contain human tissue.

An international authorship were asked to bring this together and it has recently been published. The authors hope that the guidelines are a useful reference point for Societies and anatomists themselves, and that they will encourage wider dissemination and discussion on the issues raised.
