Deadline Extended: Anatomical Society Special Funding Awards to participate in IFAA 2019

The Society is pleased to announce that its Symington Bequest Awards and Barclay Smith Awards are available to help members participate (present an abstract) in the IFAA 2019 Congress, 9th to 11th August 2019, ExCel Centre, London. 

Please note: Applications for the special awards to participate (present an abstract) at the IFAA 2019 Congress will only be accepted for the Round 2  (deadline date for receipt of application 07.02.19) and Round 3  (deadline date for receipt of application 14.03.19), and Round 4 (deadline for receipt of applications 17.04.19) and Round 5 (deadline for receipt of applications 07.06.19) Award application Rounds.

As with previous International Congresses supported and/or organised by the Society, we will increase our support for members to participate (present an abstract) as follows:

For the 2019 IFAA Congress, 9th to 11th August 2019, London

Maximum Total Funding

Symington Bequest Funding – OECD Lower Tier Countries Only*

Up to £1000 towards Registration Fee, Travel and Accommodation

Symington Bequest Funding – All Other Countries (e.g.UK, Ireland, USA)

Up to £400 towards Registration Fee Only

Barclay Smith Funding**

Up to £400 comprising
Registration Fee (up to £200) and Travel and Accommodation (up to £200)

** Available only to ‘young members’. The term ‘young members’ is normally interpreted to include both those of lecturer’s status or below and aged 30 years or below.
