Cave Young Investigator Poster Prize

Background

This is awarded for the best poster presented by an attendee, normally of relatively junior status, at the Spring/Summer Meeting (unless this meeting is held jointly with another society).

Eligibility

The work presented shall have been carried out while the first author was an undergraduate or postgraduate student and presented within 1 year of the award of the Doctorate. Member of the Society or non-member.

Awarded

Annually at the Spring/Summer meeting of the Society.

The Anatomical Society Cave Young Investigator Award (Best Poster Award) 2015 was awarded at the Winter Meeting of the Society in December 2015  to Mr Richard Cumpsty, Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton, UK for his paper, ‘Differences in the structure of the walls of cerebral arteries in the white matter compared to grey matter and the significance for Alzheimer’s disease’.

(The award is usually made at the Society's Summer Meeting however in 2015 the Society did not hold a Summer Meeting as it was a Guest Society at the AAA meeting in Boston in April 2015).

Cave Young Investigator Poster Prize Summer Meeting 2014 has been awarded to:

Cave Young Investigator Runner-Up Poster Prize Summer Meeting 2014 has been awarded to:

The Cave Young Investigator Poster Prize Summer 2013 was awarded to Ms Elaine Quinlan (RCSI) for her poster, 'Growth factor eluting mircoparticle loaded collagen-hydroxyapatite scaffolds'.
