Social Media

The Anatomical Society has a visible presence on social media on several platforms. The most popular accounts for discussion and dissemination are the Society Twitter feed and Facebook page. The Society YouTube channel has videos recorded by members explaining their roles in the Society. There are also other platforms where both members and non-members can view relevant material and communicate, network and take part in discussions via social media

To send us a news item for dissemination on social media please email socialmedia@anatsoc.org.uk

The Society Twitter account is particularly active during conferences and you can view tweets for the most recent Anatomical Society summer meeting using the hashtag #AnatSocEdinburgh2024.

Guidance on Social Media Use

The Anatomical Society very much encourages members to interact with the Society on social media to promote the subject of anatomy and anatomy research. However, the Society does not wish to be associated with any social media content which may reduce the reputation of the Society. The Society requests that all members use the following guidance when using social media that is in any way associated with the Anatomical Society.
