Dr Lopa Leach – for organising a symposium on ‘Intra-uterine Programming and Placentation’ at the American Association of Anatomists (AAA)/Experimental Biology Meeting in Anaheim, California, USA during the period 24th to 28th April 2010.

Ms Alanna Stanley – participation in the Joint Annual Meeting of the German and British Societies for Matrix Biology, Frankfurt 18th to 24th Match 2010.

Dr Paul Felts to pusue some laborartory work aimed at meaning the efficiency of a new fixative formula.

Dr Siobhan Loughna to participate in the ‘Weinstein Cardiovascular Development Conference at the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam 20-22nd May 2010.

Dr Catrin Rutland (linked Departmental Seminar Award) – to participate in the XXXVIIIth Congress of the European Veterinary Anatomists in Paris, France 28th to 31st July 2010. During the Congress the University of Nottingham hosted the ‘Young Generation of Veterinary Anatomists (YGVA) Congress. Through a Departmental Seminar Award 2010 the AS is supporting  the 2011 YGVA meeting which will take place at Nottingham University 6th to 8th July 2011.

Professor Colin Ockleford – to participate in the ‘closed’ Gordon Research Conference  ‘Endothelial Cell Phenotypes in Health and Disease’, UNE, Biddford Maine, USA 8-13th September 2010.

Ms Gabrielle Finn – to participate in the Association of Medical Education in Europe Conference in Glasgow, 4thto 8th September 2010 and to participate in the associated exhibition  ‘Flex and Ply’ in the Anatomy Museum, Glasgow.

Dr Simon Parson – to participate in the 7th UK SMA Researchers Conference – Llanwyddyn, Wales UK 4-5thOctober 2010

Ms Ross Atkinson – to participate in the AS meeting ‘Intervertebral disc pain, degeneration and regeneration’. Bristol. 6th October 2010.
