Those who teach Health Science students and professionals have the power to directly and positively affect the quality and outcomes of patient care.

From e-learning to m-learning, simulation and handheld devices, technology is making it possible to stay ahead of the latest developments while at university, on placement or in the workplace.

Innovation, Simulation and the Evolution of Technology-Enhanced Learning is the HEA’s first annual conference dedicated solely to enhancing learning and teaching in the Health Sciences.

Over 40 parallel sessions the conference will present the very latest developments and applications of technology and innovations in practice aimed at strengthening the experience and outcomes for students and service users.

Bite-size sessions: quick fire presentations of innovative projects harnessing technology from mobile phones to simulation

Micro-teaching: condensed sessions demonstrating technology-enhanced approaches to learning and teaching with classes of mixed discipline students

Virtual Gallery: showcasing interactive resources such as screencasts, videos, applications and podcasts being used in health science settings as well as information poster sessions
